Early last year the INEC Killarney venue, the largest music and multi-purpose venue in Ireland outside Dublin, worked with A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd. (AC-ET) to fit a complete new lighting rig which featured a full fixtures range, cabling infrastructure and lighting control console.
Since Gavin James, the first artist to use the rig, many other big names have played at the INEC. Snow Patrol, Nathan Carter, Una Healy (the Saturdays), Jimmy Carr, Walking on Cars and Jake Carter have all subsequently performed at the INEC, with their production teams enjoying the benefits of a full existing rig at their disposal.
Mark Egan, Director of Corporate and Leisure Events at INEC said:
The PROLIGHTS fixtures form the cornerstone of the rig, which uses a variety of moving lights including PIXIE Wash and DIAMOND 19 RGBW LED wash lights, LUMA 1500 LED profiles and RUBY discharge beam lights. These were supplemented with PROLIGHTS StudioCOB FC full colour LED PARS and SOLAR IP65 LED wash lights.
AC-ET supplied all lighting fixtures, complete with flight cases, clamps, safety bonds and replacement lamps, plus the lighting control console – an Avolites Arena – and DMX signal distributors. Power and DMX signal cabling was supplied by Tourflex® Cabling, AC-ET’s in house cable manufacturing service.
